As a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice , you will perform some or all of these duties as trained and directed by our Senior Red Seal Mechanic.

Completion of truck & trailer service and repairs and ensuring readiness for shop departure.

Inspect equipment for proper fluid levels, add fluids as necessary and replace filters.

Lubricate equipment.

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all trucks & trailers.

Identify and report mechanic issues to senior mechanic.

Advise senior mechanic on work performed, general equipment condition and future repair requirements.

Maintain records and reports of all maintenance performed.

Observe all common safety practices.

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Abide by all company policies and safety regulations.

- Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to learn and follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills to interact with team members
