Your role
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business.
You’ll get to:
- assess the current conditions and trends in the Swiss real estate market (knowledge of real estate markets is not a prerequisite)
- support the team in identifying opportunities in the Swiss market for real estate stocks and funds
- contribute to the development of investment ideas within local and global real estate markets
- publish research reports on current real estate topics
- collaborate with different teams on strategic projects with a goal of improving our client experience and driving engagement
- build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to effectively meet the needs of our clients
- develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
- attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business
Your team
The Swiss & Global Real Estate team is part of the Chief Investment Office, a key part of UBS GWM, dedicated to providing institutional quality advice to private wealth clients to preserve and grow their wealth. The team analyzes macroeconomic prospects and risks in the Swiss real estate market, identifies investment opportunities in global real estate markets, and communicates the insights to internal and external clients through publications, presentations, and media appearances.
Your expertise
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), preferably with a major in Economics
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- has a structured work approach and confident, independent working skills
- is motivated to work in an environment with high standards of quality
- is interested in economics, financial markets, numbers, and models
- has experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, additional programming skills are an advantage
- has excellent English (written and oral), fluency in German preferred
