About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, people-focused 2IC / Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of our David Jones Elizabeth Street concession—one of the most high-profile retail environments in Australia.

Working closely with the Store Business Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, leading the team on the floor, and delivering a premium, personalised customer experience.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone ready to step up and fast-track their career into Store Management.

What You’ll Do

Support the SBM in driving sales, KPIs and store performance
Lead from the front to deliver a premium, high-touch customer experience
Take ownership of the floor and lead the team in the SBM’s absence
Coach and develop team members to build a strong, engaged culture
Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, stock and operations
Build strong relationships with customers and drive repeat business

Skills and Experiences:
About You

Experience in a retail leadership role (Supervisor, Key Holder or Assistant Manager)
Strong customer service focus with a passion for styling and service
Proven ability to support team performance and drive results
Proactive, hands-on and confident in a fast-paced environment
Ambition to step into a Store Manager role in the future
