3 Day Live-In Caregiver Who Speaks Creole Language

From The Heart Home Care is looking for a Live-In female caregiver who can work for an elderly Female client in East Hartford, CT. The client will need 24-hour care. This position is for one person to cover 3 days out of the week (Thurs, Fri, and Sat. ) . If you’re a compassionate, positive person who loves helping people, then this is a job for you.

Responsibilities include, but and are not limited to

• Support clients who can’t move on their own
• Help clients dress, bathe, eat, etc
• Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Transfers

• Proven experience as a personal care assistant/CNA
• Committed to health & safety
• Able to do housework and cooking
• Well-organized and reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A positive and compassionate attitude

• High school diploma or equivalent
