360 Excavator Operator/Groundworker

Castlegrey Landscapes is looking for an experienced full time 360 Excavator Operator/Groundworker to join our expanding team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled operator to become part of our team and assist in the continued growth of a successful company.

We specialise in Commercial & Residential landscaping & maintenances projects. Castlegrey Landscapes are committed to offering reliable, high quality services to meet the needs of our residential and commercial customers.

Location: Based in Limerick, a high percentage of the work is carried out in Limerick and its suburbs. Some travel to Kerry, Galway and Dublin.

Hours 8.00am -5.00pm Monday to Friday

Duties to include:

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently on site
• Machine size usually 3 ton 2 ton and 1.2ton
• Carry out groundworks, trenching, grading, and site preparation
• Perform daily machine checks and basic maintenance
• Work closely with site managers and ground crews
• Assisting the site team with other duties when required

Requirements:

Valid 360 Excavator Operator CSCS Card - Required

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating diggers on construction sites - Required

Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates - Preferred

Full clean driving licence and over 25 for insurance purposes – Required

Own Transport to get to company premises each morning – Required

Van Driving Experience - Preferred

BE Trailer Licence – Preferred

Site Dumper CSCS Card – An Advantage

Good understanding of site safety and procedures

Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Capable of performing outdoor work in all weather conditions

Must have a good standard of English.

Responsibilities:

Adhering to Company policies and procedures and clients site rules, in relation to all aspects of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality.

Follow instructions provided by management.

Work as part of a team to ensure quality of work is delivered to an excellent standard and that the work completed is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
