Job Title: 3D Faculty (Animation & VFX)

Location: Arena Animation – Kankurgachi, Kolkata
Type: Full-Time | On-site

About the Role

Arena Animation Kankurgachi is looking for a passionate and skilled 3D Faculty who can train students in 3D animation, modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and related software used in the animation and VFX industry.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, creative flair, and a genuine interest in mentoring students to become industry-ready professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Mentoring

• Conduct theory and practical sessions on 3D animation and related topics as per the Arena Animation curriculum.
• Teach industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, and ZBrush.
• Train students in 3D Modelling, Texturing, Lighting, Rigging, Animation, and Rendering pipelines.
• Guide students on portfolio and project development aligned with industry expectations.
• Maintain high teaching standards and regularly upgrade training content as per industry trends.

Industry Exposure & Collaboration

• Stay updated with the latest 3D production techniques, tools, and workflows.
• Encourage students to adopt professional practices like proper file management, naming conventions, and teamwork.
• Contribute to internal workshops, events, and industry seminars organized by the center.

Requirements

• Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, or Fine Arts.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of teaching or studio experience in 3D production.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter & Blender.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects preferred.
• Strong understanding of modelling, texturing, rigging, lighting, rendering, and animation principles.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Patience and passion for teaching.
• Team player with the ability to motivate students.
