3rd/4th Year Plumber Or Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints effectively. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Journeyperson Plumber will work with various hand and power tools, ensuring that all plumbing tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand plumbing and heating layouts and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Collaborate with HVAC professionals when necessary to ensure integrated system functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during plumbing operations.
• Lift heavy materials as required for installations or repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber with a valid journeyman/journeywoman license.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints related to plumbing and heating systems.
• Experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for installations or repairs.
• Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
