We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Sales Associate for the Night Shift to join our retail team. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries, demonstrations, and selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales performance.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards.
• Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain accurate cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking, inventory counts, and replenishment.
• Support store cleanliness and safety protocols during night hours.
• Supervise or assist in supervising other team members as needed to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership qualities.
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and basic retail math principles.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette.
• Experience in upselling and product demonstrations to maximize sales opportunities.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
