- Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Based at our Windermere Campus, Poike, Tauranga
The position is for an Administrator within the Academic Development & Quality team.
This role is both stimulating and multi-dimensional. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative services to the Academic Development Team and administering academic processes across the Institute as required.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing timely and accurate administrative support and services to the Quality and Programme Development team members following priorities planned with the Head of Academic Development and Quality
- Managing the Tech 1 finance system to meet purchasing requirements of the Academic Development (Whanake Ake) team
- Coordination of meetings, workshops and other events
- Supporting the development and production of quality process documentation and other academic processes
- Maintain systems to support continuous quality improvement.

As the ideal applicant you will have the following:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an academic administrative/coordinator/PA role within the tertiary sector
- Superior administration skills including SharePoint/TEAMs and Microsoft 365 applications
- Outstanding priority management skills and ability to work to deadlines with a high level of accuracy and self-motivation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an eye for detail
- Prepared to go the extra mile and a good team player
- A tertiary qualification of at least Level 4 Certificate in a relevant discipline (Administration/Office Technology/Business)
