Willowbrae Academy Landmark is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new early learning academy in Kelowna, opening in early 2027. We are looking for an inspiring, passionate, and dedicated Academy Director to lead our team and help shape the foundation of this exciting new centre.

As Director, you will play a key role in bringing the Willowbrae vision to life. You will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow.

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional and leader who is excited about building a team, developing a strong centre culture, connecting with families, and making a meaningful impact in the community.

About the Role

As the Academy Director, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the academy while maintaining a high standard of care and education.
• Recruit, mentor, support, and inspire a passionate team of educators.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.
• Create a positive and inclusive academy culture where children and educators can thrive.
• Ensure the academy meets all applicable licensing, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and encourage professional growth and development within your team.
• Work closely with families to provide exceptional communication and customer service.
• Help establish the academy's reputation as a trusted and respected early learning destination in Kelowna.
• Bring energy, creativity, organization, and leadership to a brand-new academy.

• An excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships.
• Experienced in a leadership or supervisory role within an early learning environment.
• Knowledgeable about childcare licensing and best practices in British Columbia.
• Motivated by the opportunity to build something new from the ground up.
• Committed to creating a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
