Academy Operations Manager

Full-Time | Tempo Football Academy

Limerick
€33,000–€35,000 per annum
40 Hours Per Week

About Tempo Football Academy

Tempo Football Academy is one of Ireland's leading football and education providers, delivering football development programmes, Transition Year education programmes, international tours, tournaments, camps, and academy partnerships throughout Ireland and abroad.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an organised, driven, and ambitious individual to join our team as Academy Operations Manager.

This role is central to the day-to-day running of the organisation and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing sports and education business.

Main ResponsibilitiesAdministration & Customer Service

  • Manage registrations and onboarding across all programmes
  • Handle parent, player, school, and partner enquiries
  • Maintain accurate participant records
  • Manage programme communications and email correspondence
  • Deliver excellent customer service

Finance Administration

  • Manage payment plans and payment tracking
  • Follow up on outstanding payments
  • Maintain financial records and reporting systems
  • Support invoicing and reconciliation processes

Programme Operations

  • Support the delivery of:
  • Transition Year Programmes
  • Junior Academies
  • Development Centres
  • Camps
  • Tournaments
  • International Tours
  • Coordinate schedules, venues, accommodation, transport, and logistics

Event Coordination

  • Assist with the organisation of major events including:
  • Tempo Youth World Cup
  • Easter Cup
  • Summer Cup
  • International Tours
  • Coordinate suppliers, venues, and operational requirements

Systems & Reporting

  • Manage registrations through 360Player
  • Maintain databases and reporting systems
  • Produce weekly operational reports
  • Help improve internal systems and procedures

Staff & Compliance

  • Support staff onboarding and recruitment administration
  • Coordinate Garda Vetting and compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate staff records

Essential Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong administrative and IT skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience in administration, operations, sport, education, events, or tourism
  • Experience with CRM or membership systems
  • Experience managing bookings, payments, and customer databases
  • Interest in football and youth development
