The Opportunity

We’re seeking an Account Executive who can help us accelerate growth by building strong relationships with mushroom growers worldwide. You’ll be the face of 4AG Robotics—turning connections into long-term partnerships and ensuring our customers are set up for success. This is a role for someone who’s excited about both new business development and hands-on relationship management.


What You’ll Do

  • Drive new business by identifying and securing sales opportunities with commercial mushroom farms.
  • Build lasting relationships with existing clients by visiting farms, understanding their needs, ensuring our solutions deliver real value, and securing follow-on sales with these farms.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—with professionalism and persistence. This process often includes drafting sales contracts.
  • Represent 4AG Robotics at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across North America and internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction. Much like every other person at the company, you should be excited about the opportunity to spend a week on a farm operating our robots.
  • Generate all quotes that are sent to our customers, and manage the fine details of contract negotiations.

  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets by consistently growing new business opportunities.
  • Developing strong, trusted relationships with mushroom growers and industry partners.
  • Being a reliable go-to for customers, ensuring they feel supported and understood.
  • Becoming an expert in 4AG Robotics’ solutions and confidently articulating the value to prospects and clients.
  • Managing the entire CRM and pipeline for 4AG Robotics – being well-organized is critical for this role.


What You Bring

  • Proven experience of being exceptional in sales, business development, or account management, and exceeding your targets. Bonus points if it’s in agriculture (particularly mushrooms!), robotics, or technology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfort with frequent travel, both regionally and internationally.
  • The ability to adapt, think on your feet, and thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset: You demonstrate high initiative and ownership, driving growth and achieving objectives independently without requiring constant direction.

Compensation & Benefits


We believe in rewarding performance and providing a compensation structure that's competitive with Account Executive roles across the tech and robotics sectors.

  • Base salary: $110,000 CAD.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $275,000 CAD.
  • Commission: Uncapped- your earnings grow with your success.
  • Structure: Competitive commission plan with clear, measurable targets.

Location & Travel Requirements


Flexible – based anywhere in North America. This role involves significant travel to customer sites and industry events, with an estimated 50–70% travel. Expect to spend up to two weeks per month at 4AG Robotics’ headquarters in Salmon Arm, BC, with accommodation provided by the company. A typical month may include approximately one week working remotely (home-based), one week at HQ, and two weeks on the road visiting customers or attending events.
