Carbon6.io is looking for an Account Executive to join our rapidly growing Sales team in the UK. You will play a meaningful role managing an end-to-end, high-velocity sales cycle with a strategic, consultative approach.
The Opportunity (Open to Remote, Hybrid, or In-Person)
We are looking for our first Senior Account Executive for Germany to lead Carbon6's sales and account management in the German market. This role requires a decisive action-taker who embodies ownership of results, is candid and courageous in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a deep understanding of SaaS sales and the German e-commerce landscape, this leader will relentlessly pursue opportunities, secure critical accounts, and foster long-term client success.
Your Impact
- Market Development & Strategy: Drive the strategic vision for Germany, aligning with Carbon6’s ambitious EMEA sales growth objectives and taking full ownership of the market with an entrepreneurial mindset. Identify opportunities and trends to position Carbon6 as a trusted partner for German e-commerce sellers, relentlessly pursuing strategies that meet client needs and keep Carbon6 ahead of competitors.
- Sales Execution: Generate leads, qualify prospects, and drive the sales pipeline with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual targets. Conduct impactful product demos and sales presentations that showcase Carbon6's value, decisively closing key deals while negotiating with courage and transparency to ensure the best outcomes for both Carbon6 and the client.
- Account Management: You’ll build lasting, trusted relationships with key customers, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and growth, while ensuring that each client’s onboarding experience is seamless. Acting as a true advisor, you’ll take ownership of clients’ success, collaborating regularly with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to adapt to their evolving needs. Your team will deliver candid, value-driven recommendations, prioritizing outcomes that align with clients’ growth objectives, underscoring the importance of getting it right.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: You’ll partner with marketing, product, and sales enablement teams to localize sales materials and strategies that address the German market's unique demands. Also, you will provide actionable, honest feedback to the Product team based on direct market insights to drive relevant enhancements.
- Industry Engagement & Brand Advocacy: You will represent Carbon6 at industry events and networking functions with pride, leveraging these opportunities to expand our presence and establish Carbon6 as an e-commerce leader in Germany. You will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and potential clients to drive brand recognition and foster valuable industry connections that align with our strategic company goals.
Your Qualifications
- Extensive Sales Experience: 10+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a strong track record in account management and business development in the German market, ideally within the e-commerce or tech sectors.
- Proven Success in Revenue Growth: Demonstrated history of building and managing sales pipelines, with a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets in competitive environments.
- Bilingual Communication Skills: Fluency in both German and English, with exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- In-Depth Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the German e-commerce landscape, including key industry players, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborative & Strategic Mindset: Proven experience partnering with cross-functional teams to localize go-to-market strategies and influence product enhancements based on market insights.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, a strong network within the German e-commerce sector, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Marketo.
