As the #1 low-code application development platform, OutSystems provides customers with everything they need to build apps incredibly fast. So, let us cut to the chase: we are looking for an Account Executive - SMB to be based in Melbourne, Australia.
We are currently looking for an Account Executive who is a resourceful, driven, team player with a competitive spirit, and strong business acumen to focus on sales activities across various industrial verticals. If you have an affinity for technology, a passion for making your customers successful, and the ability to articulate the ROI of an enterprise solution across multiple stakeholders, then this could be the role for you.
What You Will Lead/Do or Key Responsibilities:
- Min 5 years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience.
- Hunting mentality, tenacity to close the deal.
Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed:
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles.
- Previous Sales Methodology training
- Familiarity with selling transformative software and SaaS/PaaS solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the business issues impacting large enterprise organizations with ability to educate/evangelize and so generate opportunities out of this knowledge.
- Experience of managing large complex account relationships.
- Strong network of contacts across enterprise organizations in respective region
- Ability to work credibly at all levels, especially at CXO level.
- Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to know when to seek guidance.
- Self-critical and eager to improve and optimize the sales processes and tools.
- Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
- Strong customer references
