Sherlock Recruitment is a leading supplier of Trades and Labour to the Construction and M&E Industry. Due to the continued success and expansion of Sherlock Recruitment we are looking for an experienced Sales / Account Manager to join our team of talented Recruiters on a permanent basis.
This position will see you growing our construction division by appropriately identifying the needs of both new and existing clients to provide continued support and staffing solutions to the Construction Industry.
Candidate requirements
- Methodical and driven approach to sales, with a sound ability to identify decision makers.
- Previous business development/account management/sales environment experience.
- A strong understanding of the construction industry.
- Proven track record in new business.
- Strong Business Acumen
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and an understanding of how strong relationships are developed internally and externally.
- Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role.
- Full clean drivers’ licence.
Key responsibilities
- This role is a senior hire, and integral to the growth and ongoing development of the business.
- Focus sales efforts by identifying existing and potential sales opportunities for our service portfolio by targeting and inspiring potential clients.
- Develop and actively maintain in the nominated CRM system a sales plan and opportunity funnel that will generate orders and revenue.
- Agree and achieve specific KPI's
- Establish new business by planning and organizing daily work schedule, targeting and presenting to existing or potential clients.
- Negotiate quotes and turn them into qualified orders.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity reports, monthly sales reports and pipelines.
