Join us in Canberra ACT, Australia, as an Account Manager in our Sales Division to be part of our ambitious journey transforming one of our key accounts, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), in line with their vision and IT strategy!

The day to day

As an Account Manager, your main duties will involve:
Developing and nurturing high-level customer relationships with senior executives, ensuring flawless delivery of complex product and service solutions.

Leading strategic conversations with ATO executives, providing proven leadership and mentorship to influence revenue, cost management, and capability development.

Successfully implementing strategies to achieve billed revenue, profitability, and signing of new business orders, while boosting customer happiness.

Collaborating with other functional leads and the account team to ensure outstanding customer experiences and strict adherence to strategic goals.

Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.

Work closely with Optus groups to ensure new business is implemented efficiently and customers are satisfied with the process.

Develop great customer relationships covering all relevant contacts within the customer account.

Why you are our next Account Manager

To excel in this role, you should have:
Over five years of experience in a corporate business environment or government departments, particularly in customer service, sales

or marketing

roles.

Proven experience in business-to-business sales in the corporate marketplace, with a consultative selling style.

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at CIO, CFO, and CEO levels.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong presentation skills, and effective listening capabilities, enabling successful negotiation of high-level sales deals.

A strong sense of business insight and skill in self-management, planning, and administration.
