Customer Care Specialist takes care of the core customers in North America region. He/she is responsible for the customer service functions which include but not limited to customer relationship, order entry, order monitoring, account receivables tracking, and complaint handling. He/she is passionate about customers by developing relationship and taking ownership of their accounts.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for order processing which includes receives and confirms purchase order (PO) from customers
- Inputs PO information into SAP system and follow the SAP procedures in sequence.
- Communicates with logistics department for the shipments from local inventory or with Headquarters for China direct shipments.
- Clears customs for the China direct shipments.
- Updates customers on time about the shipments status through delivery.
- Responds to all customer inquiries and complaints. Follows through closure.
- Tracks customer complaints and follows through on settlement.
- Assists with other projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field of study. Or 5+ years of military experience.
- 3+ years of experience in customer service related experience. Preferred experience in the chemical industry.
- Familiar with import and export operation, especially for chemicals.
- Proficient in SAP is preferred.
Other Qualifications
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products, e.g. Excel, Word, etc., with strong, immediate level in Excel
- Flexible to work overtime during peak periods.
- Fluent in French
- Ability to travel.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
