Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and hardworking Accountant to manage the company's daily accounting operations, financial records, billing, and taxation-related activities. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, and payment receipts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain cash book, bank book, ledger, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle GST calculations, GST returns data preparation, and related documentation.
• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and documentation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, expense statements, and account summaries.
• Verify purchase orders, invoices, bills, and vouchers.
• Maintain proper records of sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
• Assist in monthly closing and year-end accounting activities.
• Coordinate with HR, sales, purchase, and other departments for financial records.
• Maintain organized financial documents for audits and compliance.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) is preferred.
• M.Com or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with 12th Commerce and relevant accounting experience may also apply, depending on their skills.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
• Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of billing, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting is preferred.
• Freshers with good accounting knowledge and practical computer skills can also apply.
