Description:
The Opportunity

Our Superannuation team is seeking an SMSF Accountant with approximately 2–3 years demonstrated experience to join us on a full-time basis. Working in a supportive team, you will gain hands-on experience across SMSF compliance, reporting and administration, while building strong technical capability and client relationships in a specialist superannuation environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completion of SMSF financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparation of pension commencement documents and member balances calculations
• Administration of pensions
• Preparation of rollover statements and transfer balance account reports
• Assisting with SMSF windups
• Liaising with SMSF Auditors
• Proactively communicating with clients by phone and email

Skills and Experiences:
What Makes You ‘Just Right’

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
• Demonstrated experience (2 - 3 years)
• Be passionate about helping clients
• Be a problem solver, with exceptional attention to detail to produce high quality work
• Display a high-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
• Be a team player with the ability to form relationships easily internally and externally
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
