Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial record-keeping, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger accounting and ensure accurate record-keeping in QuickBooks.
- Assists Director of Finance in preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manages Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Assist in corporate finance activities such as financial analysis and pro-forma statements.
- Assists Director of Finance in preparing for annual audit.
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen in analyzing financial data.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial transactions.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation, strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience working with multiple locations, a plus!
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations effectively
