We have a fantastic opportunity available for an accountant or senior accountant in our business advisory division. You'll get direct exposure to advising large entities with complex tax structures across a range of industries!

  • Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and annual compliance obligations for a range of entity types, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely lodgement
  • Maintain high-quality work papers, including preparation, indexing and documentation, while reviewing general ledger transactions and supporting financial records
  • Assist with taxation services, including BAS, income tax returns, FBT compliance, tax research, tax planning implementation and preparation of client and ATO correspondence
  • Support business advisory activities through the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, profit forecasts, management reporting and identification of business improvement opportunities
  • Respond to client queries professionally and promptly, providing accurate information and maintaining strong client relationships under the guidance of senior team members
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development through CA/CPA studies, technical training and continuous learning to enhance accounting and taxation expertise
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (or a relevant field)
  • CPA or CA qualification (or near completion)
  • 3+ years' experience as a public practice accountant
  • Exposure to a range of technical accounting and tax issues (e.g., Div7a, CGT, FBT, GST etc.)
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and Reckon (preferrable)
  • A positive 'can do' attitude and ability to build positive relationships with internal & external statekholders
