We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as an Accounting and Administrative Assistant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative and accounting skills to support our office operations.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in bookkeeping software, particularly Quick Books, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates should have prior experience with payroll processing, including accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Monitor and maintain purchase orders and compare against expenditures
- Communicate with other team members to obtain required documentation and financial information
- Manage rent roll, leases, and vendor contracts
- Monitor and control expenses
- Generate financial reports
- Complete bank and other account reconciliations
- Complete other accounting and administrative related duties, as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper/accounting and administrative assistant
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of QuickBooks
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of reconciliations and payroll
Candidates must have at least 3 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting and Administrative experience preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
