Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
This position is assigned to the Treasurer’s Office and is primarily responsible for processing all phases of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two years of similar experience at a comparable level or (1) year of post-high school formal accounting training.
Essential Duties (Representative of, but not limited to)
- Process Purchase Orders
- Close Purchase Orders
- Review, verify, organize and distribute accounts payable invoices
- Match and batch invoices
- Organize, prepare, balance and distribute checks
- Correspond as necessary with vendors
- Process refunds
- Process voids and stop pays
- Process Employee Mileage forms
- Process Parent Transportation Reimbursement forms
- Process One Time Pays and Subs
- Process uniform and shoe allowances
- Process utility payments
- Process deposits and receipts
- Process invoices for accounts receivable
- Assist with Records Destruction process
- Assist with Annual Report
- Perform reconciliation of FSA account
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Operate current and applicable software programs using the computer proficiently.
- Operate calculator proficiently.
- Demonstrate proficient telephone skills.
- Exceptional accounting skills.

Special Requirements
