Duties and Responsibilities – Faculty (Banking & Corporate Accounting)1. Curriculum Planning and Delivery

• Design, plan, and deliver lectures in:
• Principles of Banking
• Financial and Corporate Accounting
• Banking Operations & Services
• Corporate Law and Governance
• Banking Regulations and Compliance
• Ensure syllabus coverage in line with institutional and university norms.

2. Academic Content Development

• Develop teaching materials: PPTs, case studies, workbooks, and lab manuals.
• Update curriculum content with current banking policies, trends, and corporate practices.
• Integrate RBI guidelines, Basel norms, and relevant accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS).

3. Practical Exposure and Training

• Simulate real-world banking and accounting scenarios through:
• Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
• Online banking platforms or mock banking labs
• Financial statement analysis and reporting practices

4. Assessment and Evaluation

• Design and conduct assessments: internal exams, assignments, projects, and case presentations.
• Evaluate students fairly and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student records, grades, and performance reports.

5. Mentorship and Academic Guidance

• Guide students in academic projects related to:
• Banking reforms
• Corporate governance
• Accounting frauds and ethics
• Support students during internships and viva preparation.

6. Industry Exposure and Collaboration

• Arrange field visits to banks, NBFCs, or stock exchanges.
• Invite guest speakers from corporate finance and banking sectors.
• Encourage students to track current affairs in banking and economy.

7. Soft Skills and Career Orientation

• Train students in:
• Business communication and email writing
• Interview skills for banking/finance sectors
• Resume building for accounting roles

8. Administrative Responsibilities

• Participate in syllabus committees, exam cell, or NAAC documentation (as required).
• Support the department in organizing seminars, workshops, and FDPs.
• Maintain student attendance, discipline, and academic integrity.

9. Research and Publications

• Engage in academic research in finance, banking technology, or auditing.
• Publish articles in peer-reviewed journals or present papers at conferences.

10. Continuous Professional Development

• Stay updated with:
• RBI and SEBI guidelines
• GST and taxation rules
• Emerging trends like digital banking, blockchain, fintech, etc.
• Attend Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), webinars, and finance certifications (like NISM, ICAI, etc.

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,500.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 02 – 05 per week
