**REDDING RAANCHERIA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION**
REPORTS TO: RREDCO Project Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
SUPERVISES: None
JOB SUMMARY: This team member will provide oversight for Purchasing,
Accounts Payable, Revenue Audit, Banking and Accounts Receivable. Will assist the Project Manager in month end accounting functions, general ledger entries, reconciliations and annual audit preparation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive:
1. Reviews of all Accounts Payable transactions for accuracy according to establish SOP processes
2. Provides guidance or assistance as needed to the Project Manager, vendors and organizational staff related to payables
3. Imports daily revenue reports for entities. Ensures accuracy for revenue and expense recognition and investigate any discrepancies in daily entries. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal regulatory requirements
4. Works with the Project Manager in the month-end process by preparing assigned reconciliations and journal entries
5. Defines and/or update Finance Department SOP’s as needed
6. Investigates general ledger discrepancies or other problems as requested by entity managers and other team members. Prepares necessary corrections and adjusting entries
7. Ensures workflow effectiveness and follow through for assignments
8. Responsible for overseeing the issuance of annual 1099 forms and submission of data file to the IRS
9. Completes assigned reconciliations and preparation of audit work papers for annual financial audit
10. Manages confidential information in a secure, discreet and professional manner
11. Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Redding Rancheria Economic Development Corporation
12. Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by RREDCO’s management
13. Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

§ A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business is preferred
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
The experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position; however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process:
§ Must be 21 years of age or older
§ A minimum of five (5) years of accounting or related progressive experience is required
§ A strong understanding of the principles and practices of employee supervision, along with a strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence, concurrent with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the organization is required
§ The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required
§ Strong computer skills, concurrent with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online accounting systems are preferred

§ Continuously sits
§ Frequently reaches above/below shoulder level
§ Occasionally stands, walks, bends/stoops, climbs, kneels, squats and crawls
§ Frequently lifts/carries up to ten (10) pounds is required
§ Occasionally lifts/carries up to fifty (50) pounds is required
§ Occasionally Pushes/pulls up to seventy five (75) pounds is required

§ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
§ While performing the duties of this job, the team member is usually subject to inside environmental conditions
