AccounTECH is a no-cost government-funded training program, designed to help jobseekers transition into the bookkeeping and accounting field of employment. Classes will be in person from Monday through Friday, 9 am-3 pm.

The program is specifically designed to meet job-specific technical skills aimed at meeting the requirements for current job openings in accounting administration roles across a wide variety of labor market sectors.

During this program you will receive:

• 2 weeks of workshops on resume development, interview preparation and job search strategies in addition to individual career coaching
• 8 weeks in-class training with Re-train Canada on accounting work related skills and computer programs
• 2 weeks of work experience
• Connection to the market with dedicated support from Job Placement Consultant for three months after completing training
