ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN - STUDENT

• Schedule: 15 hours/week with flexible schedule.
• Location: Lévis.
• Work Model: Hybrid.

• Ensure that balance sheets, financial statements, and accounting entries are accurately completed on time for the financial controller's analysis.

• Perform various accounting tasks:
• Participate in the preparation of month-end/year-end files.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly analysis reports.
• Make monthly entries in the general ledger.
• Complete GST/QST/HST and EHC filings and payments.
• Follow up on various requests from the financial controller.

• 
  Manage accounts payable:
• Code and enter invoices.
• Process payments for foreign and local suppliers.
• Receive calls and follow up on supplier requests.
• Create and maintain supplier and client accounts in the accounting software.

• 
  Monitor cash flow:
• Prepare the daily cash flow reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit card statements.

• 
  Provide support for accounts receivable:
• Prepare and make deposits.
• Receive calls and follow up on client inquiries.

• Be a graduating student in Accounting.
• French: Advanced level.
• English: Intermediate/advanced level required due to the need to communicate verbally and in writing with English-only business partners.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think logically with data.
• Be conscientious, autonomous, versatile, thoughtful, responsible, and able to demonstrate discretion.
