We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and offers the opportunity to contribute to a kaupapa-driven organisation making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices efficiently, reconcile statements, manage payment schedules and build strong relationships with creditors. Respond to queries from staff, managers and external supplies
- Accounts Receivable: Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing, maintain proactive communication to secure timely payments and address invoicing queries
- Payroll: Maintain accurate personal records and process fortnightly payroll promptly and accurately
- Finance Team Support: Provide general administrative support, assist with bank reconciliations, staff expenses, corporate credit card reports, and contribute the annual audit process
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable
- A strong work ethic with a solutions-focused attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and suppliers
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping and reporting
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive and cohesive team member
- Knowledge of or interest in Te Reo Māori is advantageous

This role is based in our Pōneke (Wellington) office, working 30 hours per week on a permanent part-time basis.
