Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, award-winning lodge manufacturer as a key member of their head office team. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Accounts team reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Duties to include : -
- Processing of both weekly and monthly payrolls.
· Managing holiday requests and other absences.
· Processing of purchasing invoices and resolving any queries raised.
· Preparing a monthly supplier pay run schedule.
· Raising of sales invoices and managing debtors.
· Reconciling and inputting Credit Card Statements on to accounting software.
· Other administration tasks as required.
Experience in an accounting role would be advantageous.
Essential skills:
Confident in using MS Office and Excel.
Experience in Sage 50 software.(preferable)
Ability to work to deadlines.
Must have good attention to detail and quality of work.
Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Full Time Permanent Role 37.5 hours a week.
Schedule:
· Monday to Thursday 8.30am till 5pm.
· Friday 8.30am till 2.30pm.
Flexible working hours considered.
Full time preferred, but part time hours considered (minimum of 24 hours)
Education:
· AAT Level 1 (preferred but not essential)
· Support for continuing or starting to study AAT would be provided.
Salary between £21,000 to £25,000 (dependent on experience and working hours).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
