Job Title and Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the Area Financial Controller, Finance Managers and Senior Accounts Assistant in managing the day-to-day finance operations across a portfolio of five hotels, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
Key Duties Responsibilities:
- Support finance operations across five hotel properties.
- Assist with income audit, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Produce routine and ad hoc reports.
- Work with Opera Cloud, Micros Simphony, Alkimii, Sage 200 and Procure Wizard.
- Assist with supplier set-up, invoices, reconciliations and queries.
- Support invoicing, credit control and debtor management.
- Complete cash and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with revenue audits and financial controls.
- Support compliance with SOPs, audits and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administration role (1-2 years minimum), ideally within hospitality, with proven ability to work across multiply sites in a centralised or multi-property environment.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Opera, Sage or hotel finance systems is advantageous
