Job overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing orders, creating documents in the systems and communicating with clients to provide updates on their orders. This role involves developing and maintaining good relationships with existing customers and ensuring support for other departments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Process and manage incoming orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, format, and maintain documents such as invoices, reports, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates on their orders or to address general inquiries
  • Maintain and update order records in the system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and office organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills and qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent or higher; additional certifications in accounting are a plus.
  • Experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably accounting, bookkeeping or logistics
  • Knowledge of food industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of accountability, responsibility and proactivity
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
