Finovant is seeking a hands on Finance Manager to take full ownership of accounting, financial reporting, cash flow visibility, and the monthly close process within a fast growing, multi client environment. The role requires someone who values clean books, strong controls, and structured processes, while partnering closely with founders and business leaders to translate numbers into clear, actionable insights.

This is not a narrow or transactional accounting position. The selected candidate will be expected to independently manage the entire finance function end to end, build discipline across processes, and operate as a true business partner rather than just a back office support role.

The firm provides hands on support across accounting, FP&A, reporting, and decision support, functioning as an extended finance team for high growth companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements with variance analysis and commentary.
• Track and follow up on monthly collections in collaboration with operations and customer success teams.
• Manage and monitor operating expenses across business functions.
• Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) — track actuals vs. budget, flag deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support cost optimization initiatives and ensure vendor payment accuracy.
• Partner closely with business leaders to support strategic financial decision-making.

Required Skills & Attributes:

• CA / ICWA or CA Inter with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, variance analysis) and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books/Zoho Finance Suite or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage high-volume transactional environments with strong process orientation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in sectors like hospitality, real estate, co-living, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
