Accounts Payable Administrator
Lorval Capital Management is located in Langley, BC and proudly represents the following companies: Vitrum Glass Group, Apex Aluminum Extrusions, and Lorval Developments.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. The Accounts Payable Administrator provides comprehensive accounts payable support to all Operating Companies within the Lorval Capital Management group. This position reports directly to the Corporate Reporting Manager and has the following general duties and responsibilities assigned to their role:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process and code invoices and expenses in multiple currencies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements (GST and PST).
  • Prepare bi-weekly cheque runs, EFT/ACH, wire, bills, and credit card payments.
  • Match invoices to appropriate documents and ensure proper approval prior to payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation to resolve Accounts Payable and vendor issues and any invoice discrepancies.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable against vendor statements.
  • Manage Accounts Payable email box and response vendor inquires by emails or phone calls.
  • Perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties as required.
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Payable accruals.
  • Process and code employee credit card charges and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare intercompany cross charge list for Accounts Receivable process intercompany invoices.
Required Qualifications
  • Two plus years Accounts Payable experience in a complex and high-volume business environment.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures (experience in manufacturing would be an asset)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proficient in data entry and data management with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
