Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 per annum

The Accounts Payable Coordinator is a key member of the Reconnect Finance team, responsible for the management of accounts payable (AP), associated month-end reporting and tasks, and completing special projects as assigned, within a goal-oriented organization.
About Us:
Reconnect Community Health Services is a not-for-profit health service organization in the west end of Toronto. Our services include supports for seniors, caregivers, and people living with mental health and addictions concerns. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of client-centred care in our sector.
Reconnect uses SAP Concur as its purchase order, invoice, and expense tool. The AP Coordinator will manage this application, ensuring it is configured correctly and used properly by staff. The AP Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that the data from Concur is entered into the accounting system, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018. The AP Coordinator will devise and prepare regular reports and commentary on expense activity.
What You'll Do:
You will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Manage the SAP Concur purchase order and invoicing system
- Ensure accurate processing of all AP transactions (invoices, employee expense reports, credit card statements, etc.).
- Oversee and, where necessary, process vendor and employee payments in accordance with established deadlines
- Import Concur data into the accounting system
- Verify employee expenses reports in accordance with the organization’s policies
- Maintain organized vendor and employee AP files
- Manage all vendor accounts and reconcile vendor statements
- Respond to AP enquires from external and internal stakeholders
- Review the AP subledger on a regular basis and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide support and backup to the Accounts Receivable function
- Assist in the preparation for the annual audit
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this exciting role, we seek candidates with:
- At least two years of related accounts payable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Dynamics GP 2018 preferred
- Experience with SAP Concur (Payables and Expenses) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, primarily Excel
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks
- Sensitivity in dealing with confidential information
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt readily to change
Special Requirements:
- Criminal background check;
- Works a 37.5 hours work week, Monday through Friday and as needed after hours
- Office-based position
- Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the agency
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Attendance at outside meetings and special events may be required from time-to-time.
