Accounts Payable Supervisor

Tank Traders® is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Accounting Department in La Salle, MB!

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and related transactions. This role involves mentoring the Accounts Payable Team, enhancing process efficiencies, and collaborating with other departments to maintain and enhance financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• leading and mentoring the accounts payable team for efficient and accurate workflows
• Oversee invoice processing, expense reports, and payments
• Ensure accurate entry and coding of invoices in the accounting system while maintaining compliance with policies and record-keeping standards.
• Communicate with vendors regarding accounts payable discrepancies, analyze invoices and expense reports for accuracy and payment eligibility, and prepare financial reports related to accounts payable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, audit processes, and the implementation of new accounting policies while training staff on internal procedures.
• Collaborate with teams to reconcile billing discrepancies, resolve coding errors, and improve processes efficiently.
• Act as the main point of contact for various inquiries and escalate to the appropriate parties as needed

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Experience:
