Cannon Pools and Spas Position: Accounts Payable / Payroll

Compensation: 52K Annually + 401K

This position reports directly to the Financial Controller. The team member in the current role is being promoted to the Financial Controller. Cannon Pools is one of the largest pool builders in the Northeast, has 5 retail locations, and a robust service department. The company is led by the 3rd generation, who is 42, and has plans to continue to grow the business for many years to come. We are in our 2nd year with a new software called Multitouch Pro, which is version of Odoo. The system ERP now links our POS, CRM, service schedule, inventory, and accounting. Previously, Cannon operated on older software that did not interface with each other. Cannon recently enrolled in Paychex for both payroll and 401K services.

The successful candidate will direct all aspects of accounts payable and also be cross-trained to grow into a larger role.

Qualifications:

Minimum Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

Minimum 2 years of accounting payables experience

Ability to adapt to work flow of a seasonal business

Must possess a full understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other general computer skills.

Willing to dive into our new software platform to harness its powers. Prior experience with an ERP platform outside of Quick Books would be helpful.

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
