Accounts Receivable Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software, making it essential for maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Duties

• Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, payments, and account adjustments.
• Analyze account statements to identify discrepancies and resolve issues with customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payment processes.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and outstanding balances for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Experience

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar clerical role is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical abilities to assess account information and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A background in customer service will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
