WDDC is a dynamic company distributing products to veterinarians across Western Canada since 1983. We are looking for a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
A/R:
- Process and apply customer payments, including EFT, Visa, and MasterCard transactions
- Reconcile payments to customer accounts and investigate discrepancies as required
- Maintain automatic payment listings and ensure EFT payments are applied accurately
- Respond to member and internal inquiries related to account balances and payments
- Assist with monitoring accounts and escalating overdue balances when necessary
- Support the preparation of periodic customer statements and aging reports
- May perform after-hours credit hold removals as operationally required at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Sunday through Friday; employees who perform this duty are eligible for 0.5 hours of paid or banked time per week when applicable
General Accounting & Administration:
- Post deposits and assist with daily and month-end accounting tasks
- Maintain organized filing and recovery systems for financial records
- Assist with audit preparation and ad-hoc reporting as required
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in accounting-related field
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with Accounts Receivable preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required; Microsoft Dynamics experience is an asset

Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check.
