Our client, manufacturing company based in Meath require an Accounts Supervisor to join their team.
Primary Interactions: Admin Team which includes:- Accounts, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable. Customers. Employees. Management Team
BUSINESS CRITICAL PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Financial Accuracy Ensuring transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner. Compliance Maintaining adherence to finance policies, procedures, and audit requirements. Collaboration Working closely with Finance, Sales, Admin, and Management teams to achieve deadlines and delivery of projects. Service Excellence Providing internal and external stakeholders with timely and accurate information.
BUSINESS SUPPORT PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Reports and Information You ensure information is accurate and timely Reputation You act with professionalism and integrity in all your business dealings Commercial Outcomes You ensure documentation and other requirements are in place Opportunities / Risks Risks are identified and addressed.
ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR : PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accounts Payable – Ensure the accounts payable process is completed and brought to Trial Balance
2. Accounts Receivable – Ensure the accounts receivable process is completed and brought to Trial Balance. Along with all other tasks to ensure there is tight credit control.
3. Payroll – Ensure payroll is processed and brought to Trial Balance. Along with all other tasks to ensure all requirements of payroll are maintained.
4. Bring accounts as per above to trial balance, including reconciliations – also the bank
5. Supervise 2/3 members of the team
6. Revenue Requirements:- Vat, Vies, RCT, Intrastat, Surveys
7. Respond to finance-related queries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers – reporting
8. Ensure documentation is maintained accurately for audit and compliance purposes and other ad hoc tasks
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education/Qualifications Finance, Accounting, or Business qualification preferred.
Experience 2-5 years in accounts administration, bookkeeping, or similar role. Payroll qualification is preferable Supervising experience is preferable Accreditation (Professional body)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office especially in Excel
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred).
- Strong proficiency in payroll software (Sage Payroll). Interpersonal:

- Demonstrates strong professional writing skills.

Hours:
9-5:30 Mon to Thur
9-5pm Friday
Salary; €45k DOE
