About the role


You will be an enthusiastic and dynamic clinician with leadership skills.
You will lead the Community Engagement Team in Community Health based at Healesville Hospital.
The Community Engagement Team provides administrative support, access and integrated Health Promotion services within the Community Health service.

About you


  • To be successful in this role you will possess:
    • high level of analytical thinking and investigative skills involving research, evidenced based practice and innovative service delivery models;
    • demonstrates leadership skills including competencies in decision making and in handling a range of complex issues including organisational change, staff competencies, conflict resolution and collaboration
    • Ability to supervise and guide the operational and professional development of individuals and the interdisciplinary team
    • Work collaboratively on the professional and operational performance of the team and ensure key performance indicators and targets for the program are achieved
    • Current Allied Health, Nursing registration with AHPRA or eligible membership for professional association
    • Post Graduate qualifications in relevant field (desirable)
    • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
    • A strong commitment to high quality care
    • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
