Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic acupuncture treatments to promote patient wellness, manage pain, and support overall health. The Acupuncturist will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering safe, effective acupuncture therapy.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand health history and treatment goals
• Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs
• Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles with precision and care
• Monitor patient responses during sessions and adjust techniques as necessary
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications to enhance healing
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Uphold strict hygiene standards and safety protocols throughout all procedures
• Stay current with the latest developments in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices

Experience

• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare environments is advantageous
• Certification or licensing as an Acupuncturist is required, adhering to provincial regulations
• Experience working with diverse patient populations is a plus.
• Previous experience suing Jane is an asset.
• A reliable mode of transportation is required.

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
