Job purpose:
To provide professional and effective post treatment aftercare services to Residents of the Canadian Centre for Addictions through the facilitation of group counselling sessions, Online one on one sessions utilizing proven Relapse Prevention strategies. Facilitation of CCFA's alumni "Roots Of Recovery" initiatives that focus on social and community events.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
- Full Time 40 Hours. Some weekends per month for Roots of Recovery coordination & facilitation (golf tournaments, social & community events etc)
- Follow up with discharged CCFA Clients to offer follow up support and review Discharge Plans
- Understanding of Relapse prevention techniques including 12 Step, Smart Recovery, Mindfulness and Stages of Change.
- Developing new Aftercare Program for virtual delivery
- Leading and coordinating Event planning for Roots of Recovery initiatives.
- Responsible for growing attendance and program effectiveness.
- Respond to external inquires related to aftercare in a professional, courteous and timely manner with written or verbal form
- Follow all Program Policies and Procedures outlined in the Canadian Centre for Addictions Program Manual and Human Resources Manual.
Special Requirements: Certification in Social Services field, Driver’s Licence,
Preferred Requirements: Addictions Counsellor, Certified by governing body (CACCF, CPCC Global etc...)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (required)
