Addictions Counselor

```Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan for patients
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients struggling with addiction
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Assist patients in developing coping strategies and relapse prevention plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Collect and analyze data on patient outcomes to inform treatment strategies
- Stay current on developments in the field of addiction counseling and attend professional development opportunities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Valid certification or license as an Addiction Counselor (e.g., CAC, LADC)
- Proficiency in using ICD-10 codes for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to addiction and mental health disorders
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments
- Strong skills in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
- Experience in data collection and analysis for quality improvement purposes

With a Master's degree in Counseling and expertise in ICD-10 coding, you will ensure accurate documentation and quality improvement in patient care. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
