About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our Perth team, based at our modern Canning Vale facility. This role will run Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional overtime as required. This modern laboratory and office space offers the latest technology, on-site parking, and contemporary amenities designed for comfort and efficiency.

The Administration Assistant is responsible for the efficient and professional handling of administrative tasks, client interactions, and general office operations. This role primary focus is reception as well as other duties including, data entry, document management, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure a high standard of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Data Entry & Document Management: Enter results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Excel, and CRM; maintain accurate and logical e-filing of hard copy and digital records.
Customer Service & Reception: Greet clients and visitors, manage phone calls, handle general inquiries, coordinate couriers, and support invoice and quotation tasks.
General Administration: Maintain office supplies, process incoming and outgoing mail, keep office and kitchen areas tidy, set up meeting rooms, and assist with client functions and events.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE): Adhere to all company policies and contribute to compliance, continuous improvement, and information security requirements.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

The ideal candidate will possess:
An interest in science and contributing to a laboratory-based organisation.
A friendly, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and confidence in learning systems such as LIMS and CRM.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Flexibility to assist with occasional overtime when required.
1–3 years of administration and reception experience is desirable.
