Be part of something new at Gowrie NSW Audrey (St Leonards)
We're looking for a friendly and organised Administration Assistant to join our brand-new service and play a key role from the very beginning. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 2:00pm, offering a great work-life balance.
As the Administration Assistant, you will work closely with the Centre Manager and wider team to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for children, families and visitors, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of the service.

- Developing strong professional relationships through effective and open communication with families
- Overseeing and maintaining enrolments, waitlists and attendance records
- Managing all incoming calls, taking messages and redirecting where necessary
- Collaborating with the Centre Manager to manage outstanding debt in line with Gowrie NSW fee policy
- Conducting regular audits to ensure all physical and digital records are current and accurate
- Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the centre
We are excited to welcome a dedicated professional who is committed to growing with us. You will have:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role (essential)
- Experience using Xap (desirable but not essential)
- A qualification in Administration and/or Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable but not essential)
- Current compliance certificates (e.g. Working with Children Check)
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- A friendly, professional approach with a strong customer service focus
