About the role

The Administration Officer – NDIS Coordination & Resident Admissions will provide a high standard of administration support to the JNC management team and manage the pre-admission, admission, discharge processes and coordinate all aspects of NDIS-related administration, including liaising with service providers and supporting residents to access appropriate services and resolve any NDIS-related queries or issues.

Duties

  • Coordinate facility tours.
  • Completion of documentation.
  • Answering office phone calls.
  • Assist residents and visitors with enquiries.
  • Maintain up to date list of NDIS participants.
  • Schedule and coordinate NDIS review meetings.
  • Maintain currency with all relevant software systems through mandatory training.

Skills and Experiences:
COVID - 19 Requirements

  • Immunization history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.
Required

  • Cert III or higher in Business or another related field.
  • Minimum one (1) years’ experience in similar role.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including a high standard of customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
  • Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with community and external service providers.
  • Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
  • Disability Worker Screening Clearance Card (Yellow card) or be eligible to apply.
  • Annual flu shot evidence.
Preferred

Experience working within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation.
