Salary Band $70,970 to $73,941 p.a. pro-rata

About the Role


This role will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.


As part of our team, you will be carrying out a wide range of administrative and reception duties and providing essential support, including but not limited to providing effective reception services – answering incoming calls, welcoming visitors, booking and managing of patients, data entry, clerical work and so much more.

  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.

Salary Range


This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4A between Step 1 $70,970 and Step 3 $73,941 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
