We are seeking an Administration Officer for our CraigCare Plumpton Villa Home on a Full Time basis.
About your Role
CraigCare is seeking a dedicated full-time Administration Officer to join our team at our residential aged care home in Glenroy, Plumpton Villa. This position is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday.
This role requires a warm and friendly demeanour, a can-do attitude and a willingness to lean in and provide support when needed. You’ll work autonomously and as part of a driven and caring team. The Administration Officer provides support to all services in our Home and is especially a key support to the Home Manager.
The Administration Officer will act professionally and maintain the confidentiality, rights, privacy, and dignity of our residents, colleagues, and work-related information.
Essential Requirements
- Ensuring a warm and welcoming reception service
- Provide high level of customer service to our residents, families and employees and all general enquiries
- Strong computer skills with an ability to learn new systems
- Management of rostering for all staff in the home (including leave)
- Assisting with processing of fortnightly staff payroll
- Accounts payable and receivable processing, petty cash and invoicing
- Assistance with recruitment and on-boarding processes for new staff
- Provide compliance support for audit areas and HR requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively deliver on competing priorities and continuous improvements
- Experience in aged care essential with 2+ years with rostering
- Reception and other administration duties where required
- You would also need to have a current NDIS check clearance (or willing to obtain), proof of Rights to Work, and a current immunisation certificate (including influenza and vaccination against COVID-19, including booster).
