Casual Position with Pathway to Permanent Part-Time

HARAPAN Pty Ltd is growing, and we're looking for a superstar to grow with us.

This is not your average administration role.

We are seeking a highly organised, tech-savvy, proactive professional who can become an integral part of our team. Initially, this role will be casual with flexible hours, with the intention of transitioning to a permanent part-time position as our participant base continues to grow.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Director, providing both administrative support and personal assistant duties while helping drive efficiency across the business.

  • Creating and maintaining systems and processes
  • Managing schedules, appointments and correspondence
  • Assisting with reporting and data management
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Creating and maintaining forms, templates and workflows
  • Troubleshooting office and technology issues
  • Assisting with participant-related administration
  • Providing occasional support work coverage when required

We are looking for someone who can identify problems and solve them before they become issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and data management)
  • Microsoft Lists
  • Microsoft Power Automate
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Outlook and Teams
  • ShiftCare
  • Document management systems
  • Process improvement and workflow automation

You should be comfortable learning new technology and enjoy finding smarter ways of doing things.

Highly Desirable

The ideal applicant will also have:

  • Qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, Individual Support or a related field
  • Experience working within the NDIS sector
  • Understanding of NDIS legislation, operational guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Support coordination, disability support or community services experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced small business environment
  • Strong written communication skills

Having support worker qualifications is highly desirable as there may be occasions where you can assist with participant support when needed.

The Person We're Looking For

You:

  • Are exceptionally organised
  • Have outstanding attention to detail
  • Can manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Think ahead and anticipate needs
  • Are confident dealing with a wide range of people
  • Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Are trustworthy and maintain confidentiality
  • Love creating systems and improving processes
  • Are comfortable working independently
  • Have a "can-do" attitude and enjoy solving problems

Application Requirements

Please submit your full resume to admin@harapan.com.au or click apply.

We are specifically interested in seeing the breadth of your experience and do not want resumes tailored or reduced to only match this role. We want to understand everything you have done professionally, as diverse experience is highly valued in this position.

In your cover letter, please tell us:

  • Why you believe you are suited to this role.
  • What Microsoft programs and systems you have experience with.
  • Your experience within the NDIS and disability sector.
  • An example of a system, process or workflow you improved.
  • Whether you hold qualifications in disability support or community services.
