About the Role
Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi has an administration support position in our Community Dental Service office-based administration team and clinic-based Patient Care Liaison team on a casual basis to cover leave events. Casual employment is as and when required.
Your role will be to support and enhance participation of pre-schoolers and school age Tamariki and their whānau in accessing oral health care. You need to be comfortable using multiple methods of communication to engage whānau with the service.
Duties will include working with service specific electronic patient records systems to enrol patients, schedule appointments, undertake patient group reconciliation and data entry.

The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
- Have a high standard of communication that connects with a range of different audiences within our communities
- Have an ability to effectively negotiate to meet patient and service needs
- Participate and comply with health and safety in the workplace
- Hold a minimum of a restricted NZ Drivers licence
